Pakistan: Rouged Rule Of Law Allows Torture To Exist
The Convention against Torture (CAT) prohibits torture, and requires parties to take effective measures to prevent it in any territory under its jurisdiction. This prohibition is absolute and non-derogable. "No exceptional circumstances whatsoever" may be invoked to justify torture, including war, threat of war, internal political instability, public emergency, terrorist acts, violent crime, or any form of armed conflict. Torture cannot be justified as a means to protect public safety or prevent emergencies. Neither can it be justified by orders from superior officers or public officials. The prohibition on torture applies to all territories under a party's effective jurisdiction, and protects all people under its effective control, regardless of citizenship or how that control is exercised. Since the Conventions entry into force, this absolute prohibition has become accepted as a principle of customary international law.
As a result of the government of Pakistan signing the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and also Convention against Torture (CAT) acts of torture while in custody remain solely the responsibility of the Pakistan government. Violations of the ICCPR and the CAT must be placed on the government. Proxy torture in Pakistan a method frequently used to combat the 'war on terror' cannot be made as an excuse to torture while in custody or to allow foreign forces to conduct torture practices.
There is a dire need to make torture a heinous crime in Pakistan law. Until and unless the practice of torture is criminalized through the law there are fewer chances to stop the grave human rights violations that are occurring in Pakistan. Torture will only end as the best tool for confessional statements when it is realized as a crime and therefore the concept of fair trial and justice can be achieved.

Long March and Baloch
These days according to some Optimistic peoples Like Mr. Nawaz shareef' Pakistan is going to a revolution, a revolution from the lawyers through a long march.
During this rush of Long march we are listening from Pakistani media that cravens from all over the Pakistan are on march to Islamabad, but the thing which was highlighted much was that the government of balochisthan didn't put any barrier on the caravan of lawyers from balochistan although they were stopped but outside balochistan.
but the man point is this that most of the peoples think that they are baloch lowers and these lawyers are also with this struggle to restore the deposited judges so they are using this in the context of baloch national moment and think that if democratic rule and severance parliament come on power then belch will give up and they will remain happy with Pakistan. This socolled thought was rejected by baloch bar. Baloch bar is the concal of baloch lawyers which defend there clients cases to Pakistani courts .this council includes all baloch lowers which have any concerned with baloch national moment. according to this statement from baloch bar baloch lawyers are not concerned with this moment of restoration of judges because this the are the activists of baloch national movement and as baloch national movement has its own program which is the independency if baloch home land which is not even deferent but also it is opposite to this movement of restoration of judges. there moment is to independent there mother land from Pakistan and the lawyers movement is to strengthen Pakistan although the lawyers moment is right on its position but in the context of baloch national movement a strong Pakistan means a strong colonial so baloch will not celebrate if cheap jutes of Pakistan choudri Ifthikar is restored because the problem of baloch is not the parliament or the judiciary of Pakistan but the Pakistan it self. I ask a question to those who links baloch's with this restoration of judges 'DO the court of Pakistan under cheap jutes Ifthikar chouderi will be ever ready to accept the illegal actions of 1948 and if they will accept balochistan as a independent state? if yeas than we baloch will fight for the independency of judiciary but if not than keep it in minds that baloch have sacrificed his blood for Baloch nation and the blood on the way of rite never wets.
